Kohima police issue traffic regulations

Kohima police on Wednesday issued traffic regulations for heavy vehicles, which would be enforced with immediate effect till further order.
In a press release, Sr.SP Kohima, Kevithuto Sophie stated that the traffic regulations have been issued in order to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and ease traffic congestion in Kohima town. As per the new traffic regulation, entry of heavy vehicles into Kohima would be restricted from Khuzama inter-state police check gate from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m.
Further, entry of heavy vehicles coming up towards Kohima from Dimapur side would be restricted from Chapru from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry of heavy vehicles into Kohima town would be restricted from Bye-Pass Traffic Police Booth from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m. while heavy vehicles would be restricted to ply in the Kohima town from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m.
