Liquor destroyed; team inspects check gates in Kiphire

A total of 663 bottles of assorted Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) seized on different occasions during routine check was destroyed on June 15 at the office of the judicial magistrate.
According to a DIPR report, the seized consignment was destroyed in the presence of EAC Kiphire, SDPO Kiphire, APP, OC/ PS, and PI Kiphire.
In a separate event, Kiphire inspection team inspected the check gate located at Jail Ward, Kiphire town on June 15. The team made spot verification of the authorised check gate to see whether the laid down directives issued by the government are being strictly followed.
The inspection team found out that there were no unauthorized or illegal collection activities carried out, DIPR report stated.
