Straightway Higher Secondary School (SHSS) Mokokchung organised a spiritual retreat on the theme, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2) on June 18 at the school premises. In a press release, SHSS informed that the resource persons, Limaonen Imchen, Hannah Brown Imchen, Asungla, and Nokden encouraged students to think critically about their relationship with God and how they should be proactive in understanding God.
During the retreat, resource persons conducted various activities to build bonds between new peers, students and teachers alike.
Speaking on the occasion, principal SHSS encouraged students to “renew a sense of purpose” during this spiritual retreat.
The principal said the emphasis for the school was to bring ‘spiritual upliftment’ as a holistic approach.
