DHS Longleng organises cataract eye surgery camp

District Health Society (DHS) Longleng organised a “free cataract surgery eye camp”, sponsored by National Program for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment Nagaland at District Hospital, Longleng form June 20-24.
District media officer, K Mongsen Phom informed that the team comprised of senior eye specialist, District Hospital Tuensang, Dr. Imnapokim, junior eye specialist IMDH Mokokchung, Dr. Renjano, staff nurse, IMDH Mokokchung, Medemnochetla, ANM IMDH Mokokchung, Temjenkala, civil attendant IMDH Mokokchung, Takunaro, ophthalmic assistant NPCB &VI directorate, Lechu Iralu and ophthalmic assistant CHC Longkhim, I. Tochi Imlong.
Altogether, 39 patients availed the free cataract eye surgery, while some of the other patients received minor eye surgery at the five-day camp.
