3 Corps remember Lt. Capt. N Kenguruse

Commemorating the Memorial Day of late Capt. N Kenguruse, the Spear Corps organised a ceremony at War Memorial of late Capt. N Kenguruse at Phezha village on June 28.
At the programme, wreaths were laid by Neiselie Kenguruse, father of the late captain, Major General Vikas Lakhera, Sena Medal, Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) and other senior officers. A eulogy was also read out by an officer of the Assam Rifles, followed by prayer and hymns by the community.
To mark the event, a tree plantation drive was also organised where saplings were planted by the family members and army officers. School children were also invited to the programme, which culminated with felicitation of Kenguruse family.
