NSCN (IM) demands apology from Arambai Tenggol

Reminding the Arambai Tenggol that the “awful air of ethnic conflict” that they are “deeply involved” in has not totally disappeared yet, the NSCN (IM) asked Armambai Tenggol not to provoke another ethnic tension by making reckless and impulsive statement.
A press release by MIP, NSCN/GPRN stated that anything done or uttered without any historical context is not acceptable to the Tangkhuls, adding that it only “opens the space for trouble makers using the social media platforms to fish in troubled water.”
The release further sought for spirit of peaceful co-existence, social responsibility and integrity by going for “better conduct in future.” The NSCN (IM) also remined the Arambai Tenggol that it has not responded to the ‘unqualified apology’ demanded by the Wung Tangkhul Region of GPRN.
