One person died in a road mishap between Kidima and Khezhakeno on Saturday night when the vehicle he was travelling in fell into a gorge near Tichiyi river. According to police, the 41-year-old male who died on the spot was an employee of Health & Family Welfare department (NHM, Phek).
Soon after receiving information about the accident, a Phek Police team rushed to the site and retrieved the body. The police team then handed over the body to Kezocha police station officer in-charge. The body was later handed over to the family after observing all legal formalities.
