Oriental Colony Council (OCC) has informed that an area located opposite to the directorate of Food & Civil Supplies, near the road entrance of State Stadium has been continuously and hazardously used as garbage disposal area.
In a press release, council secretary Along Lkr has cautioned that individual(s) found disposing and throwing waste of any kind would be penalised a sum of Rs. 5000.
The council has also requested onlookers and public to inform the office if they notice such activities.
