Dimapur police retrieve unidentified body

Dimapur police on July 6 retrieved one unidentified dead body of a male (30-40 years approx.) in a decomposed state from Chathe river behind CIHSR (Referral Hospital).
According to police PRO, no any foul play could be ascertained and was highly suspected to be a case of drowning.


PRO informed that the deceased was wearing a black half-pant.
An inquest was conducted over the dead body and on completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination.
