Assessment camp held in Changtongya

Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoI, in collaboration with District Administration Mokokchung and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) conducted assessment camp for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) under Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana and ADIP Scheme on July 7 at community health center (CHC), Changtongya, Mokokchung.
In a DIPR report, it informed that altogether, 96 beneficiaries were assessed and registered during assessment camp to avail facilities where ADIP (Disabled Person) identified 23 persons and RVY (Senior Citizen) 73 persons.
SDO (Civil), Rorheu Peseyie, SMO, Dr. Imtijungshi, staff from CHC Changtongya, Caritas India CBR staff, Mokokchung District Disabled Forum, and ALIMCO team led by Suman Kumar (rehab expert/prosthetist and orthotist) attended the camp.
