RO water suppliers hike rate of 20 litre water jars

RO water manufacturers and suppliers’ association Dimapur, on Tuesday informed that the wholesale delivery rate and home delivery rate of 20 litre water jars had been enhanced by Rs. 30 and Rs. 50 respectively with immediate effect.
In a press release, association president K Hukuto Khulu and secretary A Polongnok Lkr stated that the decision was taken at general meeting of the association held on June 29, 2022.
The association cautioned that anyone found manipulating the rates would be fined Rs. 10,000 or initiate legal actions against the defaulters as per the laid down resolution of the association.
Taking note of some plant owners delivering water without officially registering with the association and without proper and required documents, the association has served 10-day deadline on them to contact the association office.
Failure to adhere to its directive, the association said it would launch thorough checking in collaboration with the responsible department.
It also informed the general public to only buy 20 litre water jar that has the hologram of the association imprinted on the middle top of the jar cap.
The association also requested the general public to immediately contact its office (9366718353 and 8787378141) if anyone was found selling 20 litre water jar without the hologram.
