Agriculture officers in Nagaland have formed a new body under the name and style of Agriculture Officers Association Nagaland (AOAN).
In a press release, AOAN informed that a new team of office bearers was also elected on July 14, 2022 to lead the association for the tenure 2022-2025.
In this regard, the search committee declared L Mhao Lotha as president, Z Hukhato Sema as vice president, Dr James K Chawang as general secretary, Dr Lanunochetla as joint secretary and Medovilie Ladu as finance secretary & treasurer, with director of Agriculture M Ben Yanthan, additional director of Agriculture C Peter Yanthan and additional director of agriculture B N Phom as advisors.
In addition, the house also endorsed the officer bearers to select district representatives (one member each) from all the districts in consultation with respective district agriculture officer.
