Mokokchung District Gaon Bura Association (MDGBA) in collaboration with the power department Tuesday commissioned electricity at Mokokchung town cemetery.
The electricity was commissioned in the presence of SDO (electrical), Achanger, Marepkong ward chairman, Yimten and officials of the MDGBA
It may be mentioned that Mokokchung town cemetery had no electricity connections and people working at the cemetery had to arrange various power backups on their own in order to complete their works.
Seeing the need for the electricity connection at the cemetery, MDGBA under the leadership of its president, Along Jamir and vice president NGBA took the initiative.
