Police nab alleged ‘habitual bike-lifter’

Acting on reliable information, Mon police with the assistance of Mokokchung police apprehended one “habitual bike-lifter” identified as Tamang (30), son of Manpei of Oting Village, Mon.
According to Mon police PRO, after “tremendous efforts” and thorough investigation, police recovered seven motorbikes which were stolen by the accused person on different occasions.
PRO informed that several cases were registered in different police stations in connection with the recovered motorbikes and that investigation of the cases was in process.
Meanwhile, Mon police thanked Mokokchung police for assistance in arresting the accused.
