Longleng DTF for COVID-19 holds meeting

Longleng District Task Force (DTF) for COVID-19 held a meeting on August 3 at the Conference Hall of deputy commissioner (DC) Longleng office.
According to a DIPR report, chairperson of the meeting, DC Longleng, Dharam Raj highlighted the current status and scenario of COVID-19 in India and shared the importance of vaccination in the district. He then urged all government employees and organisations to get vaccinated.
A presentation on age wise vaccination data in Longleng, Availability of covid vaccine in the district headquarters, immunization coverage analysis was presented by WHO (RRT), Dr. Mero.

The house deliberated to create more awareness campaign in all villages and towns through various platforms; to sanitise and re-motivate the villagers, student body, village authority and churches on vaccination and to continue focus on vaccination; organise special vaccination drive; collect data from the vaccination portal and call or text the beneficiaries who are yet to get their second and booster dost.
