SDGCC invites applicants for Nagaland SDG action award

Sustainable Development Goals Coordination Centre (SDGCC), Department of Planning & Co-ordination, Government of Nagaland announced “Nagaland SDG Action Award” and “SDG Innovation Participatory Action Research Initiative 2.0”.
According to a DIPR report, SDGCC informed that the award intends to identify and facilitate the change creators for actions which are making Nagaland better. The award seeks individuals, organisations and institutions that inspire, empower and connect people to drive action towards a more sustainable future through their actions.
The award will be presented under three categories—economic sustainability, social and community upliftment and environmental sustainability. The date of application entry will begin from August 19-September 18. Further details including the entry form for the award are available at https://bit.ly/ActionAward.
The department also invited SDG Innovation Participatory Action Research Initiative 2.0 applications for individuals, organisations and institutions of Nagaland from August 19-September 18. The initiative is to implement innovative projects which will contribute to the achievement of SDGs at grassroots level and aims to find innovative ways by which the government can play a role in promoting “people action.”
