Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) has commended Dimapur police and Nagaon police for arresting the accused involved in the May 25 hit-and-run case. Dimapur police with the help of Nagaon police on August 18 apprehended the accused identified as one Dildar Hussain.
In a press release, CNSA president R Sunep Pongen and vice president Lipemo M Tsopoe appreciated the Dimapur police for their persistent efforts in apprehending the offender.
Further, CNSA has called upon all student unions and organisations to assist the authorities in bringing the offender to justice in accordance with the law. It may be mentioned that the second semester student– Mapuienla Longkumer (20) was critically injured after the vehicle hit her near the college campus at Ikshe model village on May 25 afternoon.
