Incinerator installed at S& WC directorate

The department of Soil & Water Conservation has installed first of its kind waste management incinerator at the directorate, Kohima on August 29. 
While inaugurating the plant, additional director & HoD of Soil & Water Conservation, E. James Lotha highlighted the importance of waste management through the use of environment friendly technology.  The plant was designed with an objective to safely dispose the waste materials by burning without causing any health hazards and environmental pollution.  The incinerator was locally designed by UDA of Soil & Water Conservation, Kikhevi Caty.
