
Project 72 team Kohima took to painting the walls in the heart of Kohima town, led by Sievituo Solo in Kohima town.
The team painted the wall at PHQ and at present painting the wall near the new NST Kohima. Speaking to this correspondent on the spot, social activist and Naga cyclist, Solo said that this was part of the community service by the team members to beautify the state capital. Solo also said it was to preserve the Naga culture by reminding the passersby with rich Naga writing on the walls.
It may be mentioned that the team also put up many inspirational quotations on public places in regard to cleanliness, painted some prominent world personalities’ to inspire the public. The paintings were also to encourage young people to live healthy life by avoiding drugs and intoxicating substances and also render their voluntary services in cleanliness drive in the state capital for 72 hours in a year.
