The State Government on Tuesday, through a notification has renamed the department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry (V&AH) to Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AH&VS) with immediate effect. According to an official bulletin, the notification was issued with the clearance of the Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department (AR Branch) vide U.O. No.173 dt.14/03/17.
The state government has therefore informed that henceforth all communications and correspondences could be addressed as ‘Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.’
