Nyiro range public organisation launched

Nyiro Range comprising of seven villages, under Wokha district officially launched its common public forum, named as Nyiro Range Public Organisation (NRPO) at Government High school, Nyiro Yanthamo village on August 26 . 
Sessional chairman NRPO Yankhosao Ezung in his address during the launching programme said that Nyiro range public had felt the need for a common platform, in order to have more peaceful coexistence, unity and usher friendship among the seven villages. 
He said the objective of the organisation was to work for the socio-economic activities and development of the seven sister villages. The chairman informed that the organisation not political in nature and would not work on political interest unlike other organisations. 
The chairman reminded the gathering that Nyiro Range/area, was one of the most under-developed area under Wokha district, in regard to road links or any other governmental infrastructure. Therefore he appealed the area public in general for more cooperation to work for the future prospects.  
The launching programme was attended by more than 1500 participants, from 10 units including, Nyiro Range Chairman Union, Nyiro Range GBs union, Nyiro Range VDB secretaries, Nyiro Range Officers Union, Nyiro Range Students Union, Nyiro Range Youth Organisation, Wokha Town Nyiro Range Union, Kohima Town Nyiro Range Union and Dimapur Area Nyiro Range Union.
