Advisor of Treasurers and Accounts, LM&CP, Dr. TM Lotha on August 26, held a consultative meeting with Phiro Union Dimapur (PUD) at Tourist Lodge Dimapur.
A statement from BJP media and publicity 38 A/C said that the meeting was attended by around 100 members. Various pending developmental issues pertaining to Phiro village and Wozhuro range in general were discussed at the meeting.
A prominent elder of PUD stressed on clean election and reminded the house that voters should restrain from selling votes for petty individual gains so that development in the village and the area would take place.
Another elder also urged upon the union to leave aside their personal gains but work together to uplft the village, media and publicity said.
After listening to the issue raised by the PUD, Dr.T.M Lotha appealed to them to stand united and assured to extend his service for the welfare of the village and its inhabitants.
