Kohima District Legal Services Authority (KDLSA) organised legal awareness on child friendly legal services to children and their protection scheme 2015 with Sunday school children of City Church Kohima and Ao Baptist Church Kohima AG fellowship on August 27.
At Ao Baptist Church, Wapangienla panel lawyer KDLSA discussed on the topic Child Labour Act 1986, JJ act 2000, Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006, R.T.E, Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act 2012 and Cyber Crime. The programme was chaired by Yangpila Anar panel lawyer KDLSA.
At City Church, Apila Sangtam, panel lawyer KDLSA spoke on POCSO Act, 2012 and JJ Act 2015, while Nancy Lotha, panel lawyer KDLSA spoke on Cyber Crimes.
Hekali, Sunday school superintendent thanked the KDLSA for organising such awareness programme which she mentioned was the need of the hour.
