DC Mkg issues traffic advisory

In view of the blasting work for the construction of two-lane Changtongya-Longleng road, deputy commissioner (DC) Mokokchung, Sashank Pratap Singh, has informed that all vehicular movements along Changtongya-Longleng road would be restricted for 30 days from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. with effect from September 1.
Meanwhile, DC has informed that the bailey bridge of the Dikhu river under NH-202 along Mokokchung-Tuensang stretch was under pressure and, therefore, all transport/heavy vehicles would be allowed to carry only 10 MT. Observing that many transport/heavy vehicles have been transporting beyond the admissible limit, DC cautioned that any truck owners/transport agencies not adhering to the order would be penalized.
