Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday inaugurated the Dialysis unit at District Hospital Dimapur.
The 10-bedded Dialysis centre, has been constructed under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Boeing India and Doctors For You as the implementing agency in collaboration with Health and Family Welfare department and IDAN.
The dialysis unit has four functional dialysis machines with a capacity of up to 60 sessions per day. The centre will be jointly managed by the Hospital Management Society of DHD & Doctors For You, for an initial period of 10 years.
Host of dignitaries led by chief minister Neiphiu Rio and cabinet colleagues and others attended the programme.
