A six-day skill training of rural youth (STRYY) on the topic “Organic Production of fruits and Vegetables” was organised at Chuchuyimlang under Mokokchung district from August 20-25, 2022.
The training was organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mokokchung under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India in collaboration with National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad and State Agriculture Management and Training Institute (SAMETI) Nagaland.
The training programme was organised with the aim of imparting skill-based training to rural youth on agri-based vocation areas in compliance with national policy skill development and entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied areas to promote employment in rural areas.
Altogether, 20 participants took part in the training programme and received certificates. Garden tools were also distributed to all the participants.
