ACAUT rally today, issues directives; organisations extend support

Various civil society organisations across Nagaland have extended to “All Nagaland Public Rally” called by Against Corruption and Unabated Taxation (ACAUT) on Friday at Supermarket area, Dimapur.
BAN: Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has extended support to the ACAUT public rally against the pathetic state of affairs in Nagaland. BAN has informed all its members to participate in this “mother of all rallies” to show support against corruption. BAN has also appreciated ACAUT for tirelessly working to end the corruption and injustice which has become the backbone of underdevelopment. BAN reminded the people of Nagaland that “Corruption without remorse is the pinnacle of any corrupted system, and the boldness and level of corruption in Nagaland can shame autocracy”. BAN stated that Naga business community was affected in every possible way because of the “rampant bribing of authority by the non-local and favouritism shown to them as against the local business community”.
EDBA: East Dimapur Business Association (EDBA) has extended support to the rally called by ACAUT against corruption. EDBA stated that an end has to come against corruption in Nagaland and therefore, complete solidarity should be given by all to enable fair and corruption free state. 
NVCO: Nagaland Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation (NVCO) has extended support to the call for public rally by ACAUT. The NVCO assured that it would continue to fight against corruption in the state and beyond in order to protect the bright future of the present and future generations of our Naga society. 
CAKU: Chakhro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU) has requested all members under its jurisdiction to attend the ACAUT rally. CAKU has also asked all its frontal organization as women, youth and student office bearers to mobilize its members to attend the rally. CAKU also reminded all village council chairman, GBs, area and colony representatives under CAKU to inform its members as well as mobilize the Angamis for participation.
CAVA: Chumukedima Area Village Council Association (CAVCA) extended it support to the rally called by ACAUT on August 25. 
CAVCA said corruption and social menace either by the state government or any other organization(s) has gone beyond tolerance. CAVCA has requested all its constituent units comprising of 55 recognized villages to attend the rally with all villagers (leaving aside only sick, old age and children) preferably in their traditional attire.
 WCYO: Western Chakhesang Youth Organization (WCYO) has expressed its support to ACAUT public rally and has requested all its bonafide members to attend and be part of the rally and show solidarity towards the cause taken by Against Corruption and Unabated Taxation.
No confirmation from CM & ministers: ACAUT has informed that they were yet to receive confirmation from the CM and his council of ministers to face the public rally and face the challenge posed to them.
Further, ACAUT has requested all speakers of the “All Nagaland Public Rally” to be gathered at Hotel Saramati by 2 p.m. sharp for orientation. 
Since most of the speakers, besides the main speakers, would be given 3-5 minutes time, Against Corruption and Unabated Taxation has asked all to prepare accordingly.
