Central Nagaland Women Association (CNWA) has resolved to support the Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) demand for ‘solution before election’.
In a statement, CNWA information and publicity secretary Angelina Ngullie said that the decision was made during the consultative meeting held with the Dimapur and Chümoukedima Watsu Telongiem, Lotha Eloe Ekhung Dimapur and Chümoukedima and Western Sumi Totimi Hoho at CNTC office Khermahal on August 27.
Central Nagaland Women Association said the meeting discussed at length on the Naga political issue and strongly decided to support the stand of CNTC. Other pertinent issues were also discussed at the meeting, it said.
The meeting was chaired by CNWA president Atoli Sema, wherein she highlighted about the formation and aims and objectives of CNWA.
At the meeting, women pastors Amongla Aier of DABA, Meribeni Lotha of LBCD, Khetoni Shikhu of SBCD also prayed for the CNWA office bearers The meeting was attended by all the units from the three hohos.
