Nagaland Covid-19 total caseload nears 36000-mark

Nagaland’s COVID-19 case load neared the 36000-mark after two more positive cases were reported from Dimapur, taking the total tally to 35,907.
The active cases dropped to 12 after five more patients recovered from the infection. As on August 30, there were three active cases each in Dimapur, Kohima and Longleng, two in Kiphire and one in Mokokchung, all under home isolation.
India saw a major decline in daily Covid cases with 5,439 new coronavirus infections being reported, while the active cases declined to 65,732, the Health Ministry said. The death toll climbed to 5,27,829 with 30 new fatalities.
