Nagaland on Wednesday recorded eight fresh Covid-19 positive cases, taking the total caseload to 35,915.
Of the fresh cases, three were from Mokokchung, two each in Dimapur and Kohima and one in Mon.
The State currently has 17 active cases– one admitted to Covid hospital and 16 under home isolation. The death toll remained unchanged at 777 (including 5 non-Covid deaths but with positivity).
With 7,231 new infections being reported in a day, India’s Covid-19 tally rose to 4,44,28,393, while the death toll climbed to 5,27,874 with 45 new fatalities.
