Residents of Kipongya ward, Kiphire town on August 17 destroyed around 100 marijuana plants growing under its jurisdiction.
According to SDPO Kiphire, Khoza the marijuana plants were handed over to police. After observing all formalities the plants were burnt down in the presence of the ward members, police and the district administration.
