National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland State Thursday observed NPP’s 10th foundation day which also coincided with the 75th birth anniversary of the party’s founder, late Purno Agitok Sangma.
A press release by NPP Nagaland State informed that NPP Dimapur District party office was also inaugurated by NPP Nagaland state president, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema.
While highlighting the significance of the day, Dr. Andrew called upon party workers to emulate the life of late P.A. Sangma who had dedicated his whole life for the betterment of the people and the society.
He said the occasion of the 10th Foundation Day of NPP was an epoch making one and it would serve as an important milestone for carrying forward the vision and mission that late P.A. Sangma had envisioned for the party.
Dr. Andrew also congratulated the Dimapur District Unit on persevering for excellence and for setting up the party office in record time.
Short speeches were also delivered by state advisor cum convenor, Mokokchung district, Lima Longchar, state secretary (protocol), Abel Achumi, vice president, NPYF Nagaland State, Heto Achumi and president, NPYF, Dimapur-3, Apong Aier.
