
Adviser Department for Development of Underdeveloped Areas (DUDA) and Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED), S. Pangnyu Phom on Thursday expressed his visions and plan of actions for development of the international border (India-Myanmar) and underdeveloped areas of Nagaland.
According to a press note by DUDA director K.S. Anden Konyak, the adviser conveyed this in a meeting with secretary and officers of DUDA at the office of director DUDA.
Pangnyu also urged the officers and staff of the department to extend their cooperation and to work sincerely in order to bring about all round development of the areas. He opined that DUDA was an important department for the people of the underdeveloped areas and encouraged the officers and staff to fulfil the aspiration of the people.
Joint director, Dr. Anungla Imdong Phom gave an overview of the activities of the department.
The programme was chaired by director DUDA, welcome address was delivered by secretary DUDA, Senti Ao and vote of thanks by project officer (BADP) Thepfuzakie Angami.
