NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) president has announced the expulsion of ‘major’ Neibulie Angami, son of Kedovito Angami, Piphema village Dimapur on July 25 from national active service of the Naga Army after thorough investigation of his doubtful character.
NSCN/GPRN (R) through its MIP informed that investigation revealed that, undoubtedly, he was “an agent of adversaries, an anti-Naga element”. MIP stated that the nexus with adversaries led to the arrest of so many Naga freedom fighters, the latest being the arrest of six Naga army with security arms of ceasefire members on April 19, 2017.
MIP further informed that when Neibulie was asked to report by the office of the chief of army within five days on June 5, 2017, he had failed to do so. NSCN/GPRN (R) also stated that “Indian military intelligent branch inquired about ‘major’ Neibulie Angami summons”, whereby MIP stated that this indicated that Neibulie worked with Indian intelligent office. In this regard, the NSCN/GPRN (R) has appealed all Naga political groups to be aware of such anti-Naga element and refrain from entertaining him under any circumstances. It also stated that the NSCN /GPRN (R) would continue to hunt out this element to be uprooted in the greater interest of the Naga nation.
