Mekokla Village Council (MVC) in its council meeting on July 17 has passed five-point resolutions wherein the council has cautioned government servants employed in various departments in Mekokla village to be stationed in their respective posting place and attend duties.
A press note by MVC chairman, Nyamo Z. Yanthan cautioned that failure to adhere with the resolution, the village council would initiate necessary action against the defaulting government servants and consequences whatsoever would not be borne by the village council.
The council has also asked all the different department communitised members to intimate the council about their activities from time to time, and also appealed the government departments to take consent of the council for any developmental project that may be taken up in the village in near future.
The house also resolved that the village council would initiate co-ordination meeting with all neighbouring villages in order to foster unity and understanding among the neighbours.
The council also resolved not to entertain any collection/taxation from any organizations unless it was routed through proper channel, to be endorsed to council chairman & VDB secretary for necessary action. It also resolved to appeal the power department under SDO (E) Sanis for deployment of a skilled linesman at Mekokla village.
