Directorate of Social Welfare, Kohima has informed students with disability that scholarships provided to eligible differently-abled students under the scholarships schemes of pre- matric, post- matric and top class education are being implemented through the national scholarship portal (NSP 2.0) (www.nsp.gov.in).
The department has informed that the time for registration/verification for fresh application are: Registration for pre-matric scholarship for classes IX-X from June 1 to September 30 and verification up to October 31; registration for post matric scholarship class XI to master degree or diploma level from June 1 to October 31 and verification upto November 30; registration for top class education post for post graduate degree or diploma in 197 notified institutions of excellence from June 1 to October 31 and verification upto November 15.
For renewal application: registration of pre matric scholarship for students/post matric scholarship/top class education from June 1 to July 30 of any year and verification upto August 31 of any year.
