SCC hostels inaugurated and dedicated

Sao Chang Government College (SCC), Tuensang boys and girls hostels were inaugurated and dedicated on July 3. 
A press note by SCC hostel committee convener, M. Shiu stated that in the dedication programme, Chubasangla, principal, SCC said that with the opening of the hostels, the students would be benefited because now they could devout more time in the studies. 
She said that, the hostels were located in a very conducive environment for studies free from all sort of disturbances, and she further appealed to students and teachers to have a sense of common ownership of the hostels so that everybody could contribute for its improvement in all areas. 
Brief report of the hostels was given by the hostels committee convenor M Shiu and Tongpangkokla, asst prof chaired the programme. 
The programme was attended by the 3rd NAP Sector president, GB, teaching faculty, ministerial staff, hostellers, guardians and well-wishers. 
The hostels dedication prayer was done by the pastors of five churches of Sakshi Sector, Tuensang.
The hostel buildings were constructed by the DUDA department. 
The hostels were opened with contributions both cash and kind from the principal, teaching faculty and generous individuals as there was no fund for the furniture and utensils to start the hostels. 
The college expressed its gratitude to the DUDA department for constructing the hostels.
