NDHHC launches ‘Noklak Masterpieces’

With an objective to promote the works of artisans under Noklak District Handloom and Handicraft Council (NDHCC), NHDCC launched “Noklak Masterpieces” on Friday.
Launching “Noklak Masterpieces”, Superintendent of Police (SP) Noklak, Dr. Pritpal Kaur congratulated the team and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and manufacturing products without harming the ecosystem.
During the programme, a prayer was offered by LBCNT pastor A. Penglang.
Some of the products produced under the brand “Noklak Masterpieces” are – Khiamniungan traditional man’s headgear, bamboo, cane round, cap, tray, cup and kettle, bamboo and cane basket, decorative container, original wild rhea bag, cotton bag, earthen pot, wooden spoon, bamboo straw and beer mugs, traditional iron tools, traditional shawl and waistcoat.
Earlier, NDHCC president Khumo chaired the event and delivered the welcome address.
