State BJP unit led by its president, Visasolie Lhoungu along with all rank and file have congratulated Ram Nath Govind on being elected as the 14th President of the Republic of India. The victory in the 2017 Presidential election has set a precedent for further development to follow in the light of the Government of India’s genuine concern for its citizens cutting across all lines, Lhoungu stated.
BJP unit has wished Kovind the best and was optimistic that the country would see progress and prosperity under his guidance. Further, Lhoungu said the party hopes that Kovind’s election will also foster better ties in the coming days in bringing the much needed development in the State.
