DC Dimapur on ‘plastic eggs

Acting on reports from various quarters pertaining to availability of “plastic eggs” in the market, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome said the district administration along with Dimapur police, DCCI and DMC collected egg samples from various parts of Dimapur town.
The DC informed that the sample eggs were tested in the presence of NGOs and officials namely, Naga Council, Dimapur and Naga Women Hoho, Food Safety Officer Dimapur (CMO) and administrative officers on July 18. 
Deputy Commissioner Dimapur has informed that during the test no such “artificial/plastic eggs” were found.
