NSCN/GPRN reaffirms to uphold Aug 3 Framework

NSCN/GPRN in its joint council meeting of steering committee and council of kilonsers held on July 12 unanimously reaffirmed to uphold and defend the August 3, 2015 Framework Agreement signed between the NSCN and Government of India as two entities.
MIP in a press note said that “the historic Agreement, which was made in consideration of the sovereign right of the Nagas and the security interest of India, will protect the right, the identity, the land and the future of the Nagas.”
In this regard, MIP said: “as unanimously resolved by the joint council that individuals or organization that stands opposed to the Framework Agreement shall be termed as anti Naga National Issue and anti peace process.”
NSCN/GPRN has therefore called upon all Naga people not to be misled by “certain section of people, who in order to safeguard their vested interest and ambition, have been sloganeering anti Framework agendas and trading away the birthright of the Nagas”.
