A prayer meeting was organised on Saturday at Kohima attended by 36 Naga People’s Front (NPF) legislators and 7 independent legislators.
The prayer meeting commenced with Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, MLA invoking God’s blessing, Deo Nukhu, MLA read out a Bible passage and T.R. Zeliang delivered the welcome address.
The devotion hour was led by State Chaplin, Kuzierang Thou, who inspired the gathering with the words of God saying, “As Christians, our relationship with the living God must be firm”.
He also asked the legislators to refer the book of Philippians 4:8.
The prayer meeting ended with a mass prayer.
