7th Youth-TEA underway at New Jalukie

The 7th Youth-TEA (Youth-Talent Exhibition Activities) of Rongmei Baptist Youth Fellowship, RBCAN on the theme “Excellence” -2 Corinthians 8:7 got underway at Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church, New Jalukie with Jalukie Valley Youth Organisation (JVYO) president, Masangum Hiekha as special guest on Monday.
In a press release, YTEA Committee stated that Masangum Hiekha encouraged the youth to be excellent not only at games and sports but in every good aspect in life.
He stated that self-control should be the first and foremost quality that Christian youth should possess and encouraged them to work silently as unto the Lord even without getting praise and recognition from the people as they will receive their reward in Heaven.
At the programme, ERBC associate pastor Aguipou Pamei offered invocation, YTEA convenor Hugiak Gonmei highlighted the aims and objectives of YTEA, a special music was presented by RBYF choir and traditional fire making was presented by BYF, ERBC while cultural dance was performed by BYF, RBCBC Dimapur and BYF Jalukie Town.
The inaugural function ended with an oathtaking led by YTEA member Ningchuilung and benediction was offered by RBC Mhainamtsi pastor Gaimunrei.
The 7th YTEA is a three-day event organised by Rongmei Baptist Youth Fellowship, the youth department of Rongmei Baptist Church Association Nagaland (RBCAN), with an aim to enhance God’s given talents and abilities.
The programme will culminate on October 5.
