KU Mon unit urges Reliance Jio to stop work

Konyak Union (KU) Mon Unit has urged Reliance Jio to stop ongoing work from Friday.
Konyak Union Mon Unit president, Kaiyan Toalem and general secretary, Nokhreih Ünok SN in a statement said they had inspected the optical fibre cable work along with T/Chingnyu Village Council and T/Chingnyu Students’ Union office-bearers in their jurisdiction following complaint received from people from T/Chingnyu village.
They alleged that the work allocated to the company was not as per detailed project report (DPR). Hence, they requested the company to stop work from Friday.
They further asked the contractor – Trident Infra Project Pvt Ltd – to report to KU Mon Unit office on October 14, 2022 at 2 pm without fail along with the DPR.
