Power department has informed that there would be shutdown of power supply in and around Dimapur town in a phased manner from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. starting October 11-28, 2022.
In a press release, Dimapur electrical division executive engineer Y Akito Sema informed that the proposed shutdown was in view of dismantling and shifting old existing electrical lines to the newly constructed 11 kV Trunk line in Dimapur town area.
As per the schedule of shutdown, the areas under Nagarjan & Supermarket feeder including Half Nagarjan, KK, United, Moa and D Colony would be affected on Oct 11 &12, Oct 15 &17 an Oct 20 &21; areas under Khermahal feeder including City Tower, Tata Parking & Khermahal would be affected on Oct 13 & 14, Oct 18 & 19 and Oct 22 & 24; areas under Purna Bazar & Airport feeder including Purana Bazar, Padam pukhuri, Aoyimti, Eralibil, along NH-29 area would be affected on Oct 25 & 26 and areas under Notun Bosti feeder including Nuton Bosti, Ao Khel, Sema Khel, LRC, Naga Cemetry, Nepali Bosti would be affected on Oct 27 & 28.
