Entrepreneurship programme in Kohima from October 19

Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), an autonomous organisation under the ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) that is setting up Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) sponsored by the directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, government of Nagaland, will be organising a two-day “entrepreneurship awareness and outreach programme” in Kohima on October 19 and 20.
In a press release, Sasanka Gupta Kashyap stated that the main objective of the project is to provide an enabling environment for entrepreneurship. At the two-day programme, entrepreneurs will also be assisted on credit/market linkage and handholding support.
The programme will be attended by officials from the directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship who will highlight key issues faced by entrepreneurs in Nagaland and how to overcome obstacles.
For eligibility, candidates must be “domicile” of Nagaland; a fresh entrant aspiring and existing entrepreneurs and willing to undergo entrepreneurship development programme after attending the said programme. Participants willing to join the programme may log on to www.iie.gov.in.
