District Mission Authority, Samagra Shiksha Kohima conducted a district level quiz competition on the topic “science, mathematics & technology” in the conference hall of the DEO on October 12.
Altogether, 14 students from seven government schools studying in class VII and VIII under Kohima & Tseminyu participated in the quiz competition.
Winners of the competition include—Anand of GMS Meriema (first); Eshe Yomei of GMS Daklane (second) and Mhasineinuo of GMS Merhülietsa (third).
The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs.5000, Rs. 3000 and Rs. 2000 respectively, along with certificates while the participants received certificates.
Quiz masters for the programme were TOTS Chiephobozou Trisha Thapa and TOTS Chiephobozou Vibeizolie while panel of judges included project assistant Neivikhono and IE coordinator DMA SS Kohima Cecilia and project assistant Ruokuoneinuo was the time keeper.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by DMA Samagra Shiksha Kohima assistant coordinator Thongsenlo, DEO Kohima Emilo Patton delivered welcome address and project assistant Peteneilhou proposed vote of thanks.
