DC Kohima informs on removal of off-road vehicles

The deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima, Shanavas C has informed the public that off-road vehicles and roadside dumped construction materials are causing obstruction for free movement of vehicles and defacement of public spaces. In an order, DC informed that all such off-road vehicles and roadside dumped construction materials along TCP gate till IG stadium; High School Junction till New Secretariat and Razhü Point till TCP gate via Assam Rifles Camp be immediately removed on or before October 25.
In the event of refusal or failure to comply with this order, DC has warned that the authority would take necessary action as per penal provision of the law.
