St. Xavier NCC Unit workshop on career in army

The 25 NL BN NCC Unit of St. Xavier College, Jalukie conducted a workshop on “career opportunities in armed forces as officers” for the students to spread awareness on the challenges in the armed forces.
Resource person of the event, commanding officer, 25 NL BN NCC, Mokokchung, Col.CST Swamy, spoke on the importance of building career and setting up goals in life in order achieve.
He inspired the students with a detailed discussion on the ample career opportunities in the armed forces and also highlighted the advantages and benefits.
At the workshop, JUO Sharon Zeliang was felicitated for her participation in the prestigious Thal Sainik Camp at New Delhi.
Earlier, the workshop began with the welcome address by CTO Peurangchangbe and a brief speech by the principal, Rev. Dr. Francis S Cheerangal on the importance of career opportunities in the army.
The workshop concluded with the National Cadet Corps (NCC) anthem song.
Altogether 88 students including the NCC cadets off No.1 battalion and 25 battalion attended the workshop.
