Kaito inaugurates blood bank at HMDH Zunheboto

Minister, agriculture, G Kaito Aye on Saturday inaugurated the much-awaited Blood Bank at Hezükhu Memorial District Hospital (HMDH) Zunheboto.
According to a DIPR report, the blood bank is an initiative of Hans Foundation, Zunheboto district administration and planning board.
Speaking at the programme, Kaito lamented that though the district hospital was established decades ago it was yet to be felicitated with many basic needs of the citizens.
He said the establishment of the blood bank would significantly affect the day to day lives of the citizens. Kaito also asked the medical department to judiciously utilise the blood bank and continue to work for the betterment of the society.
Brig. SS Kataria from the Hans Foundation appreciated the district administration led by Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Bhanudas Mali and planning board for understanding the needs of the needy by and joining hands to come up with the blood bank.
Deputy commissioner Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali highlighted the gathering on the details of the initiative also thanked the chairman planning board for wilfully agreeing and meeting the needs through various means.
Earlier, the blood bank was dedicated with a prayer by Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto pastor, Dr. Hutton Sumi.
